MEMBERS’ PRIVACY POLICY

 

 

Who is responsible for holding your information?

 

Your details are held securely by the Chairman, Gill Ellis, on behalf of the LHSRRA.

 

What information do we hold?

 

Obligatory: your name(s), your address, your subscription status

Optional: email address(es), home telephone number, mobile telephone number(s)

 

How is your information used?

 

To inform you and other members of matters of local interest and of LHSRRA activities and events.

 

With whom do we share your information?

 

Your details may be passed on to Committee Members but they will never be shared with other members or anyone outside the LHSRRA without your specific consent. Exception: LHSRRA WhatsApp group - see below.

 

LHSRRA WhatsApp Group

 

WhatsApp does not allow for concealed telephone numbers, therefore the mobile telephone numbers of members of the LHSRRA WhatsApp group can be seen by other members of the group. Your contractual agreement is with WhatsApp, which is owned by, and shares data with, Facebook. If you are a member of the LHSRRA WhatsApp group you may 'Exit group' at any time.

 

Withdrawal of Consent - For how long will your details be held?

 

Your details will be held as long as you are a member of the LHSRRA but you may ask the Chairman to delete your data at any time and this will be done as soon as practicable. Should you move from your address you will be contacted to ask whether or not you wish to remain on the database.
