the residents’ picnic,
along with your friends and family
On Sunday 3rd August 2025 from 2pm
Even if you can only stay for a short time, we’d love to see you.
Food & Drink
Please bring food and drink to share along with crockery, cutlery and glasses if you have them. (We do have some, so don’t worry if you haven’t.)
Comfort
We have our marquee and some seating but for your comfort please bring any of the following if you have them: picnic tables and chairs, deckchairs, loungers, picnic blankets, garden or beach umbrellas, awnings, gazebos.
Entertainment
Be assured participation will not be compulsory in any of the following which might or might not take place: wellie-wanging, potato-and-spoon / sack / three legged races, pétanque, bingo and any other games you want to bring!
Other helpful things to bring
Wellies for wanging, a little bit of cash to play bingo (all will go to prizes). If you have any portable outdoor games, these would also be welcome. There is plenty of room in the field
Location
In the field between Lower Henlade and Stoke Hill, entrance via the farm track between Vidanta and Foxhound Cottage. There will be signs up on the day. You can park in the field, providing soil conditions are suitable.
